Cathedral with different architectural styles housing the funeral monument of Queen Margaret Durazzo.
Founded at the end of the 11th century by the Norman king Robert the Guiscard, the cathedral presents a great diversity of architectural styles, reflecting its history. It is preceded by a square atrium with arches of Islamic inspiration, and the bronze wings of the central portal come from Constantinople. The Romanesque bell tower is reminiscent of the one in Amalfi. The rococo interior designed by Sanfelice and the baroque crypt covered with polychrome marble. Linger over the 13th-century ambo and the 15th-century funerary monument of Queen Margaret Durazzo.
