Do not bother with the response with the message the owner responded to in my original review. My cancellation was 2 days before my check-in due (NOT a few hours) because we had to cancel our ENTIRE Italy trip because of unforeseen circumstances. Also, booking.com gave the option for the hotel to waive the fee at the time of cancellation when I put in the request, but the HOTEL CHOSE NOT TO. We were fine being charged a fee of course respectfully, but to charge us the full amount was definitely poor customer service. They should take into considerations when emergencies come up. We had to cancel our entire trip. We did not “choose to go somewhere else besides Positano.” It is completely disrespectful of this owner to tell us that it was “questionable for us to hold the hotel for a month and then cancel.” Obviously we wouldn’t have cancelled unless it was an emergency circumstance that caused us to cancel our entire trip to Italy, which I explained to them. How disrespectful of them to make those kinds of accusations. Please read my full review to get an HONEST review on their terrible customer service.

Do NOT book at this hotel. Horrible customer service. My husband had an emergency and we had to cancel our entire trip. We contacted the hotel with over 24 hours notice. We booked through Booking.com originally, and they give an option for the hotel to waive the fee and cancel the reservation without penalty. The hotel refused and said that it was a “big loss” for them even though they still have vacant rooms available anyways that people could have booked. They were not at full capacity. It cost us a significant amount of money and they refused to waive any of it, even though they had a choice to. Our other hotels in Florence and Rome cancelled for us without any penalty because of our situation. There are plenty of beautiful places to stay in Positano better than this one. When traveling internationally, because of the costs, you want to make sure you book somewhere you can trust if something happens. And unfortunately things happen. Don’t risk wasting so much money on a place that does this. It’s not worth it.

Thank you to Cristina & Vittorio for all your kind assistance both prior to our arrival & throughout our stay including our departure. We had booked several rooms as we were getting married in Positano. Cristina and Vittorio were amazing handling all of the different check in times, dates and requests for all guests at any time. We cannot thank them enough for all they did - they are the best.

The accommodation was well located & was very clean & spacious. We enjoyed opening our French style door windows & soaking in the atmosphere & fun from the Positano Streets.

Thank you for your assistance with our luggage & for looking after all our guests. We look forward to returning again soon.

We will definitely recommend this accommodation to family & friends.
