Villa Comunale offer a view of the Gulf of Naples and the surrounding area, pleasant sunset
One of the city's major attractions. Perched atop the famous cliffs of Sorrento, the public gardens of Villa Comunale offer a superb panorama of the Gulf of Naples, which stretches from the coasts of the Sorrento peninsula to Mount Vesuvius. Not to be missed at sunset. A few benches in the shade of the palm trees and a bar-restaurant and ice cream parlour allow you to enjoy the landscape. Also make a small detour to the pretty cloister of the San Francesco convent. At the western end of the park, you can take a lift (€1) to the port.

Coup d'œil et ascenseur très pratique
Le panorama est spectaculaire sur la baie de Naples et cela rappelle que la ville est construite au bord 'une haute falaise. L'ascenseur qui se trouve dans le jardin et descend aux plages et au port constitue donc une très bonne alternative aux escaliers s'il y a canicule et/ou si vous avez des bagages et que vous utilisez le bateau pour Capri . La tarif est maintenant de 1.10 € (mars 2022)
