Semtim is a suburb of Padrubice whose name is linked to the Usine plant, a famous explosive. This famous plastic, cheap and extremely efficient plastic, was invented in 1966 by Stanislav Brebera and has been manufactured here since then to be sold to mining companies. Needless to say, the plant is extremely well guarded and everything is being done to prevent the explosive falling into the wrong hands.
