To get there, you must go through the village of Iakovtsevo and its church of the Resurrection (Voskressenskaïa) built in 1819. The central square with rounded corners, surmounted by five domes, is typically baroque. Inside, a contemporary fresco in the construction of the church was preserved in pink and clear blue tones.Following the road through the forest, it leads to the village of Nicoloboï. In 1435, the great prince of Moscow Vassili II (the Dark) was beaten by a prince of the region, Yuri Chemiaka. On the battlefield, the St. Nicholas monastery was built, «on the battle», mentioned in Russian chronicles from the th century. A few months later, in 1435, Prince Vassili II defeated the Armées armies in the village of Karabikho near Laroslavl. Until 1764, when the monastery closed, all the buildings were wooden. In 1801, in the square of the wooden cathedral, the brick parish church was built, the church Saint-Nicolas. The most recent steeple was raised in the mid th century, like most of the churches of Borissoglebski.Around the former territory of the monastery «on the battle», today remains the fortifications of the th century, which commanded Borissoglebski against the Polish armies.
