GARE ROUTIÈRE

A bus station is located in the courtyard of the railway station. This is where buses and taxis shared for Mary and Turkmenabat leave.

Buses and minibuses for Turkmenbashi and Balkanabat leave from the old airport, located 3 km north of the city.

For Dashogus, departures take place from Dashogus bazaar. Buses cross the desert in a straight line. The road has been renewed and the journey is now more comfortable and fast (at least 6 hours minimum) than on the old track. You can negotiate shared taxis around US $ 10 per person. But pay attention to the argument of gasoline prices: many vehicles operate with gas, very cheap, and should display lower rates.
