ACTED

Since 1999, the French humanitarian NGO ACTED, originally created in Afghanistan, has been present in Murghab and contributes to the sustainable development of an exceptionally poor and isolated area. In this context ACTED implemented an ecotourism program in 2001. A local association was created, META (Murghab ecotourism Association), to enable local people to invest themselves in their development. META brings together various service providers: guest room, drivers, experienced and trained guides who will accompany you in an authentic discovery of this beautiful and beautiful region. These are, among other things, CBT partners in Kyrgyzstan (Acted has an antenna in Bishkek, tel: (996 312) 69 41 61). META also works to protect and promote the unique and fragile natural and cultural environment of Pamir.
