It is the most famous address of the city, the most touristic too (but which suffered from the earthquake). It is the oldest restaurant in Umbria, open since 1850. The management has preserved a setting conducive to peace and quiet, despite the hustle and bustle of rush hours, especially in summer. It must be said that the restaurant is housed inside a national monument, composed of several rooms. All the themes of traditional regional cuisine are covered in the menu. For dessert, the house can rightly boast of its very good spumone.

Siamo stati al granaro per una cena con Smartbox. Nonostante ciò siamo stati trattati benissimo. Il cameriere che ci ha servito molto gentile. Il cibo era ottimo e l'atmosfera piacevole.

Tutto fumo e niente arrosto. Mi spiace mettere così poco ma purtroppo la qualità attesa in luoghi come questo, nel cuore dell’ Umbria più autentica, non può essere basilare, mediocre. Sinceramente abbiamo mangiato mediamente bene, ma non abbiamo avvertito quella tipicità quella genuinità del posto. Prodotti medi, ricotta scarsa per lo standard super alto del posto. Pasta un po’ incollata. Verdure discrete, carne buona ma non eccellente. Spero migliorino perché luoghi come questo meritano di trasmettere il meglio.

Locale è adatto a tutti con piatti tipici di alta qualità e ottimi vini… piatti preferiti sono la zuppa di lenticchie di Castelluccio e le tagliatelle ai funghi porcini.. parcheggio privato consigliato a tutti i motociclisti che si trovassero a passare.parola di Mr.Diavel
