A very old day, during which the knights decided on the order of priority between the prince and the lady of their heart. She was awarded honour in 1947. Today, it is the 10 districts of Foligno that are taking the challenge: the riders must slip with the help of throwing an ever smaller ring. A parade of 600 people in costume takes place the day before. The 2nd Sunday of the month is the challenge, and the third Sunday is revenge.
