Friendly hotel with solarium and terrace in Assisi.
The Sorella Luna opened in 2012 in an old building from the 4th century that has been completely restored. The place has become contemporary with a refined decor, without losing the charm and vaulted structure of yesteryear. The white walls regularly exhibit the work of various artists, as the establishment is a "gallery-hotel". The 15 rooms are impeccably clean, the furniture is modern, the bathrooms are in perfect condition and pleasant. Its convivial space is made up of several nooks and crannies, including a solarium and a small terrace ideal for an aperitif.

Please note that Assisi is a hillside village. As such, there are a lot of stairs in the hotel. (I think we only saw one hotel that may be “flat” with a lift.) If you need a room on the main level (which is still up some steps) or with minimal steps, be sure to let the staff know ahead of time.

I deducted 1 star because the mini bar is hit and miss and although they will send laundry out, be aware that it takes 3 full days to get it back.
