Restaurant of the starred chef Valeria Piccini, in the small perched village of Montemerano.
Opened in 1987 by Maurizio Menichetti and chef Valeria Piccini, it is now one of the most famous restaurants in Tuscany and even Italy. The atmosphere remains intimate with its few tables. Da Caino is nestled in a 13th century medieval hamlet south of Saturnia, Montemerano, where time seems to have stopped. The dishes prepared by Valeria are unforgettable, for a unique culinary experience, rewarded with two Michelin stars. A cuisine that is both spontaneous and thoughtful to the taste of the Maremma.

מתוך 17 מנות היו 4 טעימות והשאר גרמו לתמיהה כמו למשל איך רבע תות על הגריל מעל מספר עלים מתובלנים בחסר נקרא מנה. אותו הדבר עם פירה חסה על עלי חסה או סורבה עגבניות ירוקות תפל.
