The piano bar inside and the elevated terrace, overlooking the pretty little square of Castiglion Fiorentino, contribute greatly to the character of this rather elegant establishment. On the menu: traditional regional cuisine, full of flavor, at more than reasonable prices. The house wine is recommended, as is the tender beef tagliata, served just grilled with green pepper and rosemary. This is the spirit of a "trattoria", synonymous with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. A sure bet!

We had dinner there in 1994. The food was so outstanding we still talk about it. Actually, one of us has written a book and mentioned it: Ships, Trips and Friends in Great Places by Douglas T. Nelson. The paté, the bruschetta, the 3 different pastas… and just as we thought we were too full, the Fiorentina on a huge plate perfumed with rosemary! Then the fig tart and the home made after dinner liqueur!!!!

Una cena buonissima, un servizio veloce e cortese. Ambiente familiare, ampio ma non rumoroso. Dolci buonissimi e molto ben presentati. La carne ovviamente al di sopra di ogni aspettativa!
