Despite its dominant Renaissance style, Cortona Cathedral has a medieval soul.

The dome of Cortona was built in the 14th century on top of an ancient church, which can still be seen on the façade. We'll leave you to take a look. Around the building, the loggia, bishop's palace and bell tower date from the 16th century. As you enter, don't miss a terracotta Madonna dating from the 13th century, among the Renaissance and Baroque works that have been preserved.
