If you're looking for a restaurant, it's worth noting that the Valdichiana region has been home to the chianina breed, used to make the famous bistecca alla fiorentina, for over 2,000 years. Many Etruscan and Roman frescoes in the region depict these giant oxen, the largest cattle breed in the world.
