Hotel in a pleasant setting in Stresa, a good address to discover Lake Maggiore.
Immersed in the greenery of a large park, Hotel La Fontana is the ideal location from which to explore Lake Maggiore. The villa boasts a magnificent fountain (hence the name), where you can enjoy a book to the accompaniment of the gurgling water. The living room has a lovely wooden floor and period chandeliers. The rooms are simple and a little old-fashioned, but spacious and comfortable, some with a terrace facing the lake and Isola Bella. Excellent, hearty breakfast. Very attentive owners, 10-minute walk to town center.

Un hôtel vraiment à conseiller : très bien situé, une piscine très agréable et surtout un personnel chaleureux et aux petits soins pour les résidents. Nous avions une chambre avec vue sur les îles Borromées : un super séjour !

Dans une ambiance des années 40' et 50' (pour la reception) , L'Accueil et le service est impeccable, le personnel adorable et la chambre plus que convenable contrairement à ce que disent certains commentaires ici ! À recommander sans hésités

We loved our stay
The service was incredible, very nice staff (reception, pool, breakfast, etc). Nice attentions for kids (book with crayons, special set up for breakfast, nice games at the pool area). At a walking distance of the action at night. Overall a perfect stay, wish we could have stayed longer !
