One of the oldest aquariums in the world, built for the 1996 World Fair.
On the edge of the Parco Sempione, the Milan Aquarium built for the 1906 Universal Exhibition is one of the oldest aquariums in the world. It is housed in a beautiful Liberty-style building, whose facade decorations evoke aquatic motifs. Here you can admire dozens of species from the Mediterranean Sea, the oceans and Italian freshwater. We love the clown fish and the jellyfish bowl. In the gardens: a beautiful, more classic goldfish and turtle pond. A visit that will be very much appreciated by the little ones!
