PALIO DELL'OCA E SAGRA DEL SALUME

Every year this traditional festival celebrates the local specialty of the town of Mortara, about 40 kilometers northwest of Pavia: the goose sausage. This festival with historical evocation and fair invites the visitors to discover this Lombardy specialty and its different recipes. Since 2005, Mortara's goose salami has received a PGI (the equivalent of our PDO). Lovers of good food, do not hesitate: this festival is for you!
