An atypical bakery, Luini owes its celebrity to a gourmet speciality from Puglia, the panzerotti. These salted fritters stuffed in a thousand and one ways never cease to delight young and old alike, forming long tails in front of the shop so that they can be eaten to the bite, served hot. Their secret recipe has been passed down from father to son for three generations. Fried or browned in the oven (lighter), the most appreciated is the panzerotto mozzarella and tomato, followed by the ham and eggplant panzerotto and several others garnished with seasonal products.

Panzerortti was really good!! Went before the opening and there was a short queue, but service was quick! Staff were also very friendly :)

A Napoli fanno il "PANZAROTTO", che è una crocchetta di patate, fatta a forma di cilindro con i bordi arrotondati, in mezzo fior di latte, salame, pepe, sale, prezzemolo, imbevuto nell'uovo, pangrattato e fritto pochi minuti, in olio bollente , non è come il panzerotto di Luini, che somiglia più a una mini pizza fritta, che noi facciamo con farina acqua, poco lievito, e lasciamo l'impasto un paio d'ore a temperatura ambiente, e poi lo mettiamo in frigo 24 ore a lievitare, ricotta pomodoro, fior di latte, pepe, salame, parmigiano.
Il risultato è una cosa che solo provandolo si può capire la bontà del prodotto. A questo punto ritiro il mio panzerotto, e mi accingo a mangiare, deluso cerco di capire come mai non concordo sulla bontà del panzerotto di Luini, con delle recensioni così alte, secondo me l'impasto e stato fatto in fretta, con lieviti veloci, sembrava poco cotto, con la tendenza a reimpastarsi, poco pomodoro, e la mozzarella? Pasta filata di formaggi vari.
A mio giudizio posso dare un 4 stelle per la pulizia il prezzo e la posizione del posto, due stelle per il prodotto.
