With its winter garden, this stylish osteria with Liberty furniture offers high quality Milanese and Italian cuisine.

In the trendy design district, here is a beautiful address that combines tradition and modernity. The entrance just under the iron footbridge of the Porta Genova Station leads you to the room where leather benches and period woodwork set the tone. In summer, the terrace under the pergola almost makes you forget you are in the city centre. In the kitchen, the Lombard cuisine has a great deal to offer (sautéed risotto, pasta with beans, breaded chop), to which are added some Mediterranean dishes such as langoustine salad or seafood pasta.

Tavolata di amiche. In condivisione polpettine (1) decenti, e gazpacho, non mi è piaciuto. Poi ho preso una cotoletta alla milanese: era molto asciutta e secca, e senza contorno (a 32 euro), in più senza sale. L'ho chiesto a tre camerieri differenti (la cameriera pure infastidita), e alla fine mi sono alzata e sono andata alla cassa per chiederlo per la quarta volta. Due dolci in condivisione con 3 amiche: l'isola dolcissima e con pochissima salsa, e la parte tatin era frutta cotta. Pagato la mia parte 60 euro. Bella la location.

Given the price, food should be great, but, unfortunately, it’s super disappointing: rough and plain cotolleta with veggies, sticky pasta with no sauce, etc. Service is not very attentive and helpful, which is awful given the 5€ coperto.
