A few steps from the Roman ruins of Via Moriggi, an ancient osteria dating back to the 1920 s with its original home. It sounds in a cellar, which is true because this place is mostly a œnothèque. There are also exceptional Italian sausage plates and a few hot dishes like the traditional maccheroni al.

We spent a few days to Milan and being lovers of traditional cuisine we tried several restaurants including Taverna Moriggi recommended by our guide.
Unfortunately this experience is by far the worst our stay and this, in all points.
Welcome: correct nothing more.
Menu: nonexistent, there is only one simple slate with some dishes, we did not have a wine list therefore we do not know the prices (little surprise on the bill).
Meal: the cold, were provided at all (ham spreads with mayonnaise and raw steak crushed with the fork as Tartar). Without mentioning accompaniments that were simply 3 pieces of cold and not steamed potatoes cooked.
Wine: fine wine.
And to accompany the entire by midges that walked in our dish.
Bill: large surprise on the price of wine and the price of the seats, the owner tried to increase the touch with 4 seats instead of 2 but asking detail it made that we had noticeable.
Basically a very disappointing restaurant, without any cuisine or atmosphere (everything you heard was the clock room next door) for a touch more than savoury (42€!), I do not recommend it to person.
