This hotel, almost at the foot of the ski lifts, is the result of the renovation of an early 20th century stone and wood chalet. The rooms are charming, classic and neat in the alpine style, without being outdated or rustic. The garden is very pleasant: a small stone courtyard - with tables and chairs - surrounded by grass and, as a backdrop, a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. In summer and winter, the temperature can be raised in two saunas, indoor and outdoor, for the intrepid.

The staff are all very friendly and speak great English but Sigrun (the owner/manager) really sets things apart. She was incredibly helpful and couldn’t do enough for us (a very large group of 21 adults and kids). She booked taxi’s, found tables at restaurants that had said no to us and called the doctor and translated when we had an injury. Highly recommended.
