Update: It is not true that any of the tables were reserved! If it had been, I would not be writing a review here. We saw the waiter's face when he asked "how many of us are there"?…. We told him it was for two, and then you could see on his face that he didn't like it, he didn't want a bigger aszalt and "only" for two!! No point in lying , we know what happened….

Disgusting hospitality! We arrived for lunch today and the nice waiter wouldn't let us in. We are a smartly dressed french couple. There were 2 tables for 4, we asked, none were reserved for anyone. The owner just wanted to make more profit and expected a group of 4 to double the profit rather than let me and my husband in. I hope restaurants like this will be closed down. Again, none of the tables were taken.

Une hospitalité dégoûtante ! Nous sommes arrivés pour le déjeuner aujourd'hui et le gentil serveur n'a pas voulu nous laisser entrer. Nous sommes un couple français élégamment vêtu. Il y avait 2 tables pour 4, nous avons demandé, aucune n'était réservée pour qui que ce soit. Le propriétaire voulait simplement faire plus de profit et s'attendait à ce qu'un groupe de 4 personnes double le profit plutôt que de nous laisser entrer, mon mari et moi. J'espère que ce genre de restaurant fera faillite. Je le répète, aucune des tables n'était occupée.

Ő spitalità disgustosa! Siamo arrivati oggi a pranzo e il gentile cameriere non ci ha fatto entrare. Siamo una coppia francese elegantemente vestita. C'erano 2 tavoli per 4 persone, abbiamo chiesto, ma nessuno era riservato a nessuno. Il proprietario voleva solo guadagnare di più e si aspettava che un gruppo di 4 persone raddoppiasse il profitto piuttosto che far entrare me e mio marito. Spero che ristoranti come questo vengano chiusi. Anche in questo caso, nessuno dei tavoli era occupato.

Ottimo servizio, il responsabile del ristorante molto gentilezza e preparato.
Ho preso una costata di produzione proprio macerata e stagionata, davvero eccezionale. Da ritornare. Complimenti!

Buona esperienza

Un'esperenza interessante, tutti i piatti tipicamente Valdostani, il pezzo forte del locale sono i tagli di carne a lunga maturazione.
Proposte interessanti dall'antipasto ai dolci, servizio cordiale e attento, ambiente intimo e curato.
Consigliato in particolare a chi è interessato ai sapori della carni mature nelle varie proposte della casa, dalle costate alla tartar o ragù di carne maturate.

Per quanto riguarda i piatti molto buoni !

Siamo stati ad Aosta x la Fiera di Sant'Orso. In questo posticino molto bello ed autentico abbiamo mangiato un pasto buonissimo! In 4 persone come stuzzica appetito una taglierà, un piatto formaggio misto con marmellata di cipolle rosse. Poi come menù la bistecca valdostana... una bontà! Prezzo più ché onesto per la qualità e quantità! Meno di 50 € a copia incl bere, caffè e mancia. Servizio impeccabile, personale molto gentile! Aosta vale la pena di ritornare anche senza Fiera❣️

Ottimo ristorante con cucina tipica. Per noi seconda esperenzia che conferma la buona cucina nel tempo.

13 euros le verre de vin rouge.. c'est plus cher qu'en Suisse..

Prima cena ad Aosta.
Il posto fa solo carne e piatti tipici!
Location molto carina e tipica!
Il ragazzo che ci ha seguiti è stato molto gentile, paziente e disponibile nonostante fosse da solo a gestire tutta una saletta distaccata dalla sala principale.
Non mi sento dire lo stesso per il gestore/proprietario/responsabile. Ma fprse la simpatia non era reciproca visto che non abbiamo ricevuto i liquori della casa da assaggiare come letto dalle recensioni e visto fare con altri prima di noi.
Carne buona, valdostana anche ma veramente pesantissima.
Buoni il dolce, i salumi e i formaggi!
Rapporto qualità prezzo forse leggermente caro per la qualità offerta.

Ambiance chalet très accueillante. Excellente viande. Service rapide, sympathique et efficace.
La nouvelle gestion garde le niveau.

Excellent, le personnel est très gentils, les plats sont très bon, certes il n’ya pas de menu enfant mais notre fille a pris les gnocchis elle en a mangé les 3/4 car c’était très bon, les dessert sont très bon et gourmand. Je recommande et nous reviendrons à notre prochaine visite

Personale cordialissimo e disponibile, ambiente accogliente, abbiamo preso un tagliere pieno di delizie, per non parlare della valdostana e della carbonada con polenta!
Davvero caldamente consigliato!

Malheureusement, nous n'avons pas du tout apprécié ce restaurant. Les plats n'étaient pas bons ou seulement peut-être pas à notre goût. Nous avons été très déçus car restaurant pourtant bien noté et commentaires positifs. C'était notre 1er jour de vacances en plus.
Il n'y a pas beaucoup de choix notamment pour les plats simples et végétariens ; et pas de menu pour jeunes enfants. Je ne recommande pas ce restaurant si vous avez des enfants et aussi si vous préférez les plats simples. La cuisine y est (trop) rustique. La polenta n'était pas bonne du tout et froide, pas d'assaisonnement. Obligée de rajouter du sel pour masquer un goût fort de céréales. Mon fils et moi n'avons rien mangé et tout cela pour des prix qui étaient supérieurs. Mon mari a trouvé le prix du spritz extrêmement cher. Bref, c'est sûrement un bon restaurant pour les amateurs de cuisine rustique.
Dernier point : nous avons été placés à l'arrière cour alors que nous étions les premiers à arriver pour le dîner avec des guêpes qui tournaient autour de nous et une fourmilière à nos pieds... Peut-être un traitement différent pour les touristes.

La location è anche carina ma il personale è poco attento e il cibo non speciale. Porzioni relativamente piccole, niente pane.
La pecca maggiore è stato uno dei camerieri che oltre a arrivare col vino sbagliato ha dato per scontato che il calice fosse stato chiesto dal mio ragazzo anziché chiedere per chi fosse.
Apprezzabile l'inclusione di piatti per vegetariani nel menù.

Ottimo posto per un pranzo tipico valdostano. Polenta alla valdostana buonissima e abbondante, polenta con carbonada buona ma piatto un po'misero, avrei messo più polenta. Molto buone anche le verdure al sugo. Consigliato per un pranzo veloce ma buono!

Posto molto rustico,un po’ piccolino… Ma lo consiglio a chi ha voglia di provare i piatti tipici valdostani.. Ho apprezzato molto la cortesia del personale,l’attenzione al cliente. Il menù offriva poche pietanze,ma ogni piatto era ben fatto e servito con cura.. vi consiglio la carbonada con polenta!
