TOUR DE L'HORLOGE DE KRATOVO

This tower (Саат-Кула/Saat-Kula) is the only one among the twelve in the city that is open for tours. With a height of 14 m, it lost its clock long ago. A former defensive tower erected around 1372, it was transformed in the ^17th century to indicate prayer times to the city's Muslim population. On the third floor, a café gives access to the roof with a panoramic view of the city. Small exhibitions on the history and architecture of Kratovo on the lower floors.
