MUSÉE DE KRIVA PALANKA

Founded in 2006, this museum (Градски Музеј/Gradski Muzej) is housed in the House of Culture, a large building with white walls decorated with traditional motifs. Dating from 1926, this also houses a small tourist office (same hours). In the museum: reconstructions of ^19th and ^20th century house interiors, traditional costumes, paintings by local painters, historical photographs and archaeological and numismatic collections from the region's ancient sites. The presentation is rather neat with even texts in English.
