POSTE-FRONTIÈRE DE BOGORODICA-EVZONI

This is the busiest border crossing in Northern Macedonia, between Bogorodica/Богородица and Evzoni/Ευζώνων, Greece. Hundreds of trucks pass here every day to or from the large port of Thessaloniki. The controls have become stricter because of the many illegal migrants. As a result, the customs officers can take up to 1 hour to check only fifteen vehicles. And then it is very ugly with the first casinos of Gevgelija as soon as the border is crossed.
