Saint Tryphon, patron saint of winegrowers, is celebrated with wine tastings in Demir Kapija and the Tikveš region.
This festival (Недела на Традицијата Свети Трифун/Nedela na Tradicijata Sveti Trifun) has been held in Demir Kapija since 2010. It takes up an ancient tradition, since the martyred saint Tryphon of Lampsach is considered the protector of winegrowers in part of the Balkans.
