LAKEVIEW HOTEL & RESORT
Managed by a family of the United States-sponsored Slavic Macedonian diaspora in 2013, this is the only real hotel around Prespa Lake. Ililjana Nicovska and his father assume the history of the place. Built by political prisoners and opened in 1966, the establishment was one of the largest places of amusement in Yugoslavia. The decor has barely changed with outdated furniture, billiard room and restaurant with a nice terrace where the great fêtes celebrations were held. The rooms, of which 19 have views of the lake, are of a simple comfort with proper bathroom, Wifi, TV, drinking and heating.
