From December 8 to the end of January, 300 silhouettes of crib figures light up the hills of Manarola every evening.

Since 2007, during the Christmas season, the Manarola hillside has been covered in the luminous silhouettes of the 300 or so nativity figures, all powered by entirely green energy for two months. It's a magnificent sight, which can be contemplated from several vantage points. With fireworks, especially on the evening of December 8 when the festivities and the Christmas market kick off, it's truly magical.
