From Vernazza's main square, head west along the path to Monterosso. After passing under an arch, an alley along the coast leads to the largest of the Cinque Terre. On the first part of the path, you can admire Punta Linà and, a little further on, Monk's Rock. You'll then come across the small Acquapendente cove. The last section of the trail climbs up steep steps to Punta Corone and from there to Monterosso. This inland trail offers few views of the sea.
