Here's a little osteria that's over a hundred years old (opened in 1905), but there's nothing infernal about it - quite the contrary! A regular clientele regularly descends the few steps that lead to the two vaulted rooms down the street, where you're always sure to find the flavors of a plentiful traditional cuisine at fair prices: stuffed anchovies, minestrone, tripe and several local specialties such as stuffed mussels. While the atmosphere in this old-fashioned cellar is warm and welcoming, the place is nonetheless noisy. The staff speak French.

Quando ho chiesto consigli su dove mangiare a La Spezia a gente che l'ha vissuta, mi è stata proposta quest'osteria senza pensarci due volte. E poi ho capito il perché!
Veramente tipica, a partire dalla location, rustica, curata, molto accogliente e dall'atmosfera conviviale. Si chiacchiera molto facilmente coi "vicini" di tavolo, che vengono a mangiare in questo post da anni. Anche il personale di sala è stato impeccabile, e, oltre che gentile, anche molto simpatico.
Parlando del menu, ho finalmente assaggiato il pesto autentico, quello buono! E in porzioni davvero abbondanti. Ma anche la mesciua, tradizionale zuppa spezzina. E l'antipasto a base di muscoli e acciughe, di cui non sono un grande fan, è stato ripulito per bene.
Ottima la cheese cake, non mi è piaciuta la zuppa inglese, ma non è ragione sufficiente per non meritarsi i pieni voti! Per quello che abbiamo mangiato, la sua qualità e il servizio, il conto è anche fin troppo onesto. Altro che inferno...

Tolles Restaurant!!
Das Restaurant an sich scheint recht klein und eng, was allerdings sehr gut zum rustikalen Ambiente passen. Der Service ist gut und die Preise sind angemessen.
Die Speisekarte ist vergleichsweise klein, trotzdem wird hier wohl jeder fündig.
Vor allem für jemanden, der gerne Fisch und Meerestiere ist, ist dieses Restaurant ein absolutes Muss.
Aber auch für Vegetarier oder Personen, die nicht so gerne Meereslebewesen verspeisen, wird etwas angeboten. Dieses Angebot ist allerdings sehr klein.

Dementsprechend kann ich das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen.

Bel locale con tavoli all' interno e tavoli all'esterno. Le porzioni sono abbondanti e il rapporto qualità/prezzo e molto buono. Il personale e gentile e sempre presente, ma non fastidioso. Ottime le tagliatelle con il pesto, non sono del luogo, ma un pesto così buono non l'avevo mai mangiato. Buoni e abbondanti anche i secondi. Varia la scelta dei primi e dei secondi tra carne e pesce. Ci sono anche piatti vegetariani.
