The parish church of Sestri, located in the heart of the old town, preserves several baroque paintings.
Sestri's parish church, located in the heart of the old town between the port and the Baia del Silenzio, was built in the 17thcentury . It's easily recognizable by its classical pronaos and Ionic columns. Its facade was rebuilt in the 19th century, but two original bell towers are still visible. Inside, the church preserves several Baroque paintings and a beautiful wooden Pietà. In the 18thcentury , the church was elevated to cathedral status.
