Cooperative of 340 local winegrowers. The modern structure at the rear of the castle, along the main road, offers a wide range of wines for tasting and sale. For more than a century, the St. Michael-Eppan winery, with 330 winegrowing families and 385 ha of vineyards, has supported the most important winegrowing commune: Appiano, on the South Tyrolean wine route at the gateway to the Dolomites. The surrounding soils offer exceptional characteristics for unique wines.
