MUSEO RIVA DEL GARDA - LA ROCCA

This magnificent and well preserved castle overlooks the lake. Built in 1124 by the Veronese family Della Scala, it was built on a square plan on the banks of the lake in order to defend the gates of the lake city. From the high Apponale tower you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the city, both on the lake side and on the mountain side. Today it is the seat of the municipal museum and the art gallery with permanent collections in archaeology, history, art, landscape paintings in particular, temporary exhibitions and cultural events.
