Route des pêches to the left of the Porte de Non-Retour, first past the Jardin brésilien and on to Cotonou
At the end of the route des Esclaves, turn left at the Porte de Non-Retour. The trail passes in front of the Jardin Brésilien and continues to... Cotonou. If only the last part is paved (recently), the road should soon reach Ouidah. All along the road, there are fine sandy beaches where fishermen's canoes can be counted by the hundreds at the time of the return from fishing. On Sundays, the Cotonois come to enjoy the beaches and the many establishments that have opened here and there in recent years.

Magnificent road, coconut trees, small fishing villages, traditional fishing, canoes,... for absolutely before the development of hotels on the coast. Ask for a 4x4.
Good, 4x4, I dishes in doubt; -)... We went by motorbike my companion and the trip seemed to me rocky race motocross with nest- to hen puddle pools including lunar craters. But what a adventure baths and unforgettable! Fresh coconut trees and coconut milk, huts and fishing boats, the beach and sea, sun and the sky, children with the song "yovo", goats, chickens and safe cattle the road... If you do not think of the conditions existence of fishermen! If you want to go to Ouidah, take the Road Fishing and not tarmacked road, although more quickly.
