The Asi Mbojo Museum, formerly the palace of the Sultan of Bima, is a historic building constructed between 1927 and 1929, designed by architect Ambon Rehatta. This magnificent European-style palace was financed by the sultanate's budget and the local community. It now houses a museum displaying cultural treasures such as kriss, royal jewels and historical artifacts. Since 1989, it has been open to the public, offering a captivating insight into Bima's history.
