LES COLLINES DE SAN PEDRO

In the city itself, there is the Arso Hill, the one opposite the Ivory Gardens, and the one of the former Balmer Hotel where Thérèse Houphouët-Boigny's residence is located. Each offers pleasant walks and beautiful views of the surrounding area. The one at the entrance of the Corniche district, between the bd Houphouët-Boigny and the port, is a point of no return where slave ships used to embark slaves for the New World. The access path is not easy, except with a guide.
