VILLAGE ARTISANAL DE GRAND-BASSAM

Located on the roadside a few kilometres from the town centre, the artisanal village of Bassam is in danger of disappearing, impacted in its activities by the opening of the Abidjan-Bassam motorway which diverts tourists and potential buyers from its stands. Initially 400 craftsmen were installed there. Don't miss a visit to encourage the craftsmen who work there, but expect to be very much in demand by sellers who see fewer and fewer customers.
