CENTRE ARTISANAL

This artisanal center located in a warehouse that once housed the port's stores brings together about twenty craftsmen divided by trade and specialty. Amongst other things, there are copies of the main traditional masks and statues of the country, enriched with personal creations, musical instruments and decorative objects. Several craftsmen work the bronze according to the technique of the "lost wax used" of the baoulé foundrymen. The artisan-painters paint shimmering batiks. You can watch them at work in the courtyard workshop.
