PLAI FESTIVAL

Created in 2006, this festival is held in the Banat Village Museum on the outskirts of Timișoara. On the program: world music concerts (Zaz, Patrice and Paris Combo have performed here, among others), but also film screenings, exhibitions and a whole host of workshops of all kinds: theater, music, sports, crafts, cooking, etc. The organizing team also runs the excellent JazzTM festival, which takes place in early July, and the Ambasada space on the banks of the Bega, a coworking space, café-restaurant and cultural center in one.
