The Théâtre Reine Marie (Teatrul Regina Maria) is a theater located in Oradea. It opened in 1900 and was designed by architects Ferdinand Fellner and Hermann Helmer. The theater offers a varied program, ranging from classic plays to contemporary shows. The theater has two halls, the Sala Mare and the Sala Arcadia, which host shows of different sizes. The Théâtre Reine Marie is renowned for having launched great directors who have gone on to enjoy brilliant artistic careers. It has also collaborated with famous names in Romanian theater. The theater has enjoyed growing success in recent years, attracting increasing numbers of spectators and taking part in numerous theater festivals in Romania and abroad.
