Lake Dogodogo is a recent reservoir of 80 ha, located 67 km from Bujumbura (and 4 km south of Rugombo), on the right side of the RN 5. It is a huge pond whose surrounding areas are marshy, covering nearly 450 ha. Marked by aquatic vegetation (water lilies and house), the lake, located in a large plain, is surrounded by reeds and high herbs that sail over its waters in an unexpected and mysterious manner. A bistro is installed on the banks and even if it is closed, it can be installed to watch fishermen activate on their boats and then buy a fish, if necessary.
