THE GERMAN CEMETERY

German soldiers fallen at the beginning of the th century or during the battles of the First World War that opposed German forces and allied forces (British, Belgian) rest in this cemetery, as well as several anonymous «askaris» (African soldiers recruited into colonial troops). The site, on the left of the RN 5 on the border, consists of about graves. He is regularly maintained with the assistance of the German Embassy in Bujumbura. It is preferred when the rose roses give the stelas a little shade.
