The hotel de la Palmeraie, opened at the end of 2009, is all the right to the imagination of Patrice Bush, a French who has been in the region for over 20 years. Located 300 m from Lake Tanganyika, a few minutes from the city centre, the hotel offers a green garden where different palm trees are planted from all over the world. In the centre a wavy pool is reserved for residents. The rooms are superb, comfortably equipped, and the hotel has all the benefits that one can expect from a luxury sign: Personal services, laundry services, airport shuttles and especially gourmet restaurant. The ideal location for a successful stay in Bujumbura.

It is a pity that there is only 5 star notation. I would put 100 of them if I could. the restaurant is incredible, it is simply the best of Buja! I just visited the rooms by curiosity, and the suites are unique in Burundi. Finally I believe. You would need more investors like this Patrice for Burundi. more it goes!
