Perched on top of Mount Namsan, this modern tower, representative of the capital, watches over the city day and night.

Built in 1969 and renovated in 2015, the N Seoul Tower reaches 137.7 m at the panoramic observatory. It offers a breathtaking view of Seoul. In the tower, there is a shop, a friendly café to warm up and a panoramic restaurant turning on the top floor, more than 243 m above the ground with the panoramic view that goes with it! Inside this structure made popular by the various television programs featuring couples sealing their love with padlocks hanging on its famous terrace (possibility of buying padlocks on site), there is a plastic work of 248 media-art panels that allow you to enjoy from the 1st to the 4th floor beautiful representations of the Gwanghwamun Gate, the four seasons at Gyeongbukgung Palace, or the beautiful Seoul sky. At the bottom of the tower, do not miss the Bongsudae, a reconstruction of the central communication lighthouse where coded messages from all over the country arrived under Joseon. From mountain to mountain, such posts sent signals (smoke during the day, torches at night) so far to inform the capital of the arrival of a possible invader.

A little smart (and funny) advice. Go to the toilet at the top of the tower.... Nicknamed "the toilets of the sky", they have the particularity of being placed against large bay windows, which gives the impression of throwing themselves into the void. The windows are tinted, so it is not possible to see from the outside.

It is going up to the top of this tower that you realise finally of the grandeur of this city. An impressive view of any Seoul.
