Kyobo is Korea's largest chain of bookstores. There are several in Seoul, but the best is here, with a good section of foreign-language books, including a French section. Korean textbooks are also available. There's also a good stationery shop, a cafeteria and a ticket office. Near the cafeteria is the road map section. There's also another sales outlet on Gangnam.

Kyobo reste incontournable : même si c'est une librairie d'abord coréenne, il y a peu d'endroits où on puisse trouver autant d'ouvrages en langue étrangère (français, anglais, japonais, ...) ; le personnel est aimable et on arrive à surmonter la barrière de la langue si on ne parle pas le coréen. NB : il y a régulièrement des ventes de livres d'occasion ou " de déstockage " et on peut parfois trouver ainsi des choses intéressantes.
Dans les mêmes locaux, on vend de la papeterie, des disques et divers objets qui peuvent faire des souvenirs jolis ou amusants sans forcément coûter cher
