Seoul has an excellent and continuously expanding metro network. There are lines 1 to 9 and a few additional lines. Each line has a number and a colour: line 1 (dark blue), line 2 (green, which makes a circle around Seoul), line 3 (orange), line 4 (light blue), line 5 (violet), line 6 (light brown), line 7 (olive green), line 8 (pink) and line 9 (khaki green), the Airport line (sky blue) and the Bundang line (yellow). Line 1 is also connected to the rail network and leads as far as Suwon and Incheon, 50 km from Seoul

Réseau dense et service efficace
Réseau de métro urbain et périurbain très efficace. Nombreuses lignes et interconnexions avec des horaires élargis. La signalétique est en coréen et en transcription anglaise ce qui permet de se repérer facilement. Attention, les plans de quartier sont orientés avec le nord en bas ce qui peut dérouter au début. Il est même possible d'aller à l'aéroport international d'Incheon et à Suwon.
