Some interesting temples to discover in Mataram: Pura Meru is Lombok's largest and Suranadi is very enchanting.

Some very interesting temples to discover:

Pura Meru, the largest temple in Lombok - built in 1720 by a Balinese prince.

Pura Segara, Balinese temple - near Ampenan.

Suranadi, 5 km north of Narmada, is another extremely enchanting temple.

Pura Lingsar, is a temple complex built in 1714.

Pura Narmada, pleasure garden and place of worship built in 1727.

Pura Agung Gunung Sari, a large temple where the battle of Puputan took place in 1894.

Pura batu bolong is located south of Sengiggi. The view of the sunset is superb.
