Ask for Murni's when you arrive in Bali and your driver will know where to take you. After all, everyone knows the owner. For decades, Murni's has been concocting authentic Indonesian and Thai cuisine, using fresh, high-quality ingredients. The warung was a meeting place for hipsters from 1974-1980. In a superb setting (go down the successive terraces clinging to the gorge to reach the very bottom, in a bath of freshness and vegetation). The homemade cakes are simply divine.
