You have the choice between three roads. The first one, starting from Denpasar, is very well marked and very busy. We advise you to take the westernmost road, via Batubulan, the Bali Bird Park and the stone carving village... You will get closer to Ubud by crossing Campuhan. A third road, also pleasant, crosses the villages of Lodtunduh and Pengosekan. Be careful to choose your departure time carefully: the traffic in the south and around Ubud is infernal, generally from 3pm.
