A short 45-minute walk from the El Bolsón parking lot, perfect for discovering 25 sculptures carved in dead trees

At an altitude of 1,400 m, after a short 45-minute walk from the car park, you can discover El Bosque Tallado. These are twenty-five sculptures carved from dead trees (most of them are lengas, typical trees of the region). The authors of this original work are local woodcarvers. We can continue the walk to the Piltriquitrón hut, at the foot of the summit of the same name, the most famous and highest (2,260 m) in the valley. Superb panorama and walk recommended on a good weather day. It's possible to sleep there.
